What the
specification says:
- How do the contemporary
media represent nations, regions and ethnic/social/collective groups of
people in different ways?
- How does contemporary
representation compare to previous time periods? Compare representation
between past, current and future periods.
- What are the social
implications of different media representations of groups of people? How
are transgender people treated in social environments today?
- To what extent is human
identity increasingly ‘mediated’? Do we use media to form our own
identity? What is media classifying us as? Relate to the hypodermic needle
effect.
